As I use avantgo I dont really need the news/stocks etc that journal bar grabs. is there anyway i can have it only grab weather?

Also, I'm only getting weather for 2 out of the 5 days all the time (so last 3 days are always question marks).. anyone else getting this? i'm in toronto btw.

Yeah you can limit it, go into the options for it under start -> settings -> today to the items tab on the bottom, highlight journal bar and then click the options, you can check/uncheck all that things you want displayed, i.e. if you dont want any news, or stockes clear or uncheck them and they dont display, I think the movie times etc page has a do not display page check as well.

as far as your weather not updating, its probably because of the source where journal bar gets its info, I'm not sure where they get it but it seems to be getting more and more volitile, however they are great about doing updates etc, contact them about it and tell them your area code or whatever adn they'll look into it.

Or you could just add the Weather Channel site to your avantgo and ditch journal bar altogether. That's what I did. It's not on my today screen, but it's free.

Yeah i've got the weather channel avantgo channel also. However what's annoying is that it always displays the temps in ferenheit so i have to scroll down and select 'celcius' and then the page reloads. Not really a big deal but a very slight pain.
