Password program

Does anyone know of a good password program download that I could use for my X30? Want to keep all those pesky passwords with me?

Thanks, Lucy

I use Ewallet too. It stores just about everything. And is password protected, of course.

I use Flexwallet 2005. I have used it for years with my X5 and just loaded it on my new X30.

I use it to store not only passwords but all of my frequently flier junk and other misc info. In addition, I like the custom templates. You basically can create a mini list / database program for tracking whatever (i.e. DVD collection, golf courses, etc.)

It comes with a free desktop version. This way I can update my file from either my Axim or my desktop.

You can buy it from Handago. There is a 30 day free trial.

Get ewallet, list pro, and dockware in one package from www.iliumsoft.com in their 'essentials' pack.

It is a bit pricey but I use the list program for everything from movies to see, to groceries, to books I own etc.

The eWallet is really nice too.

Best of all the essentials pack comes with the pro versions, which means you get a desktop version that Syncs nicely... allowing you to enter your lists (and waller info) on a much larget screen, and when you close the file, it syncs.

Thank you so much. I downloaded Flex Wallet 2005 and have started to try to use it. I finally figured it out, at least the basics and it seems very good. I am a new user to my Dell X30, have tried to start to learn that and now am faced with trying to learn these new programs. I have spent hours at my computer....my husband thinks I'm nuts!!! But I enjoy it. It does get frustrating sometimes...I wish I could just pick up the phone and ask questions that I have to someone. I know they could walk me thru it in a matter of seconds....but these boards are very good. It is nice to see that other users are willing to help us newcomers with our questions.
Thanks again, Lucy

I've been using PI File for a few years! And now that it's been updated, its extremely appealing to the eye! There's a desktop version that's included also! While you're there, take a look at another of my favorites, TreNotes!

I used eWallet until a few days ago when I discovered that SplashID was available for PPC. I had used it on my Clie and was disappointed it was available for PPC when I made the switch.

Where can I find Password Safe? Any other good freeware password managers?

Anyone use any of these?:
CodeStore (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/codestore.shtml)
Passman (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/passman.shtml)
Password Manager PDA Edition (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities...aedition.shtml)
The Password Vault (http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities...ordvault.shtml)?

TIA

I went to download Password Manager PDA Edition, but the url is not found after selrcting download. I than went to their home page with no success, other than the Password Manager Suite which does not work on Win Mobile 2003? any other programs with or close to the same interface?

First of all, I haven't used either of these apps. I ordered my X30H on Monday, and plan to try out both of them when it finally shows up...

http://keepass.sourceforge.net/ - there is a PPC version available from the downloads link. Again, I don't know how well it works or if it is even compatible with 2003SE.

http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/ - I use the XP version of this program. It's great for what it does, but I have been looking into keepass (above) as a possible replacement. No idea how well the PPC version works though.

Good luck!

I'm using Passwords Plus from DataViz--I had it on my Palm, and when I got my Axim, I just added it to the sync, it downloaded the software, and I'm off and running.

Not free, but PC and handlheld versions sync--I use the PC version for most editing and such (I keep a lot of stuff other than passwords in it), but everything is pushed to the Axim on sync. Encrypted, password is set on the PC and pushed to the PDA.
