Using with Wisbar Advance

A few questions:

I use Wisbar Advance, which has many similar features to HandyS/M/L. You can setup Custom buttons and assign any of the Handy apps to them.

Previously I had a custom button with Tap set for HandyMenu and Hold set for HandyLauncher. To use HandySwitcher I had to keep it on the bottom bar.

I'd like to set it all up on the top bar with the compact display, but I'm not sure how to make this work.

Any ideas? Anyone doing this now?

I love WA's cascading menu and use it for my less-often used programs. I much prefer to use HandySwitcher with HM & HL attached for all my frequently used apps and settings.

I deselect the "switching" features of WA and use HS.

But....I can't seem to use the compact display functions with the WA custom button. Any advice?

Thanks!

The problem is that WisbarAdvance redraws the whole area at the top .
So even after we display our icon, it will be hidden behind Wisbar's drawing.

We're not sure if there is anyway to overcome this as we never tried playing with wisbar.

Does any one else have an idea?

Well, I've setup two custom buttons:

#1 - Tap = HandySwitcher; Hold = HandyMenu

#2 - Tap = HandyLauncher; Hold = HandyMenu (Again!)

However even though I'm in the top bar, all menus pop-up from the bottom right. Is this the correct behavior?

Thanks again! :approve:

yes, because HandyMenu/Launcher/Switcher don't know about your setup, they assume they are executed through a hardware button.

What we can do is adding an option to those programs which will make the menus appear from the top.

How does this sound ?

Sounds wonderful!

You're the best!

I also have Chris at WA looking into making WA allow HS/HM/HL to work properly in WA. He's also pretty responsive.

Thanks!

You want to try the latest version of HandyLauncher out
Now adding -X in the command line when you run HandyLauncher will make HandyLauncher's menu come from the top
if you want to have more control add the offset you want after the -X
( Example: -X35 )

The same feature will be added soon to HandyMenu and HandySwitcher

Please let us know what do you think ?
