Have you tried to remove through ActiveSync?

How do you delete the program icon from the program menu (which does not go to anything) after you have uninstalled a program but the Icon does not get taken away?

Also I do not understand what the status is of the programs that are show sort of greyed out on the ActiveSync list of programs under add/remove programs(on the desktop). It seem like they are sort of in limbo what is there status and what do you do with the ones you want to keep and what do you do with the ones that you tried but do not want to keep?

Use file explorer to find the shortcut and delete it. It should be somewhere in a folder either under \Windows or \Program Files.

The greyed out applications are available to reinstall from files on the PC. Activesync keeps track of everything ever installed.
