I was wondering where I can find a program that will display the actual tasks on the todays screen, kind of like it does with the calendar.

there are some like tagenda. search for it at pocketfreewares.com <---hint, bookmark that site. (note: click the english flag for the correct language option)
or just get pocketbreeze (infinitely better) <--- search for it on this site and read some recent posts to save yourself some money.
