Can App's be loaded and run from SD memory Cards?
Can App's be loaded and run from CF memory Cards?
Are there any exceptions?

Seems like a good way to keep from using up your Axim memory.

Yes and No, Yes and No and Yes. Most apps will install to SD/CF cards and can be run from there. However ALL apps must load into Program Storage when running, hence the Yes and No answer. There are exceptions to the general rule that you can install to the cards. Some programs ignore the location you indicate and install to Main Storage no matter what you select. For me, these usually get de-installed right then, unless I really, really, really have to have it. I hate giving up Main storage involuntarily. :rolling:

Thanks JakeRich. I hate to give up my main storage also.
I'll give a few app's a try and see what happens.
Worst case I'll have to uninstall from main storage.
I'll let you all know which worked for me and which didn't

I install almost everything to either my CF card or my SD card. The only things I install to main memory are programs that are used constantly, like PPX or Sprite Backup.
