Looking for Omega One Power Alert Replacement

I like my alarms for my calendar to start quiet and crescendo louder. The Omega One Power Pack has the power alert which is what I am looking for.

However, I am not wanting to install anything from Omega One again.

Is there a tweak or another application that will give me the results I need?

spb Pocket Plus. Does what you want plus a whole bunch of other useful things.

BTW: What did O1 do that was bad enough to make you avoid them?

I have Pocket Plus, but it doesn't give me the crescendo on my alarms. Is this a setting that I need to set and/or change?

O1 made me mad, and many others but I only speak for myself, when they originally offered free lifetime updates and then changed the rules. I loved the program bar, journal bar, 1 pass, 1 calc, etc. but that upset me and I haven't used their products since.

I also like the pocket plus better now, but can't seem to get the alarms to work. I purchase spb time thinking that would help but to no avail. It only worked on the time alarms I set from spb time.

Well Omega One products seem to freeze and crash my Axim X3i all the time. I have Battery Pack Pro and Journal Bar 3.0. They are the only Today Scree plug-ins I have installed and using them can often be a nightmare... I'm thinking about giving up on Omega One products completely too...

There is an option to turn on repeating alarms...

I can understand that you were mad, but I guess what I'm wondering is why are you asking about this now? That whole thing transpired a while back. Second, they only whacked the lifetime updates for Battery Pack, there have been no announcements for similar moves with any other products.

How many times has Microsoft made you mad, are you using Linux full time now? ;) Personally, I'm not going to ditch a line of products that I love because they asked for a $5 upgrade. That's just how I see it, an I've had very minimal issues with their products.

Anyhow, good luck on your quest for the app you seek . . .

The reason I ask now is because I had set the advanced settings on Pocket Plus and forgot about them. It wasn't until I reset my ppc that I noticed the problem. I completely forgot about the advanced settings. As a matter of fact, I even contacted SPB tech support and didn't get the correct answer. I routed me to the "Alarm Tweak on wakeup" problem most have. I don't have that problem thankfully.

With Microsoft, I never felt that I was told that I would get lifetime updates used as a selling point.

The lifetime updates didn't sell me on it, my experience with the trial did.

I'm on the trial and after 4 soft resets and 2 hrad in less than 24 hours, I'm ready to get rid of the whole thing. Not worth the aggravation. This is on a new X30. And when it doesn't freeze up the Axim it seems to slow it down to the point of being useless.

Omega One problems

I purchased the Omega One Battery Pack Pro, installed it, and after several soft and hard resets, uninstalled it. Not sure where to go from here besides asking for a refund from Handango. Has anyone else seen this?

I believe there are still issues with BP Pro and WM 2003 SE. Hoping most of these will be resolved with 1.1.2. Also check out their official support forums, the developer is very responsive to posts. That's a shame because I've been using is for 9 mo. now on my X3i and I really love it.
