Displaying Chinese

How do I get my ppc to display chinese?
I found a neat english->chinese dictionary I think my brother will find useful in his mandarin class, whats cool is its free www.octopus-studio.com what isnt is all I get are squares instead of characters....

I am using WM2003 and I tried the font file in windows/fonts but I still get squares
Ideas?

It's a long, very very long thread, but this Brighthand thread is sort of the best FAQ on displaying Chinese characters on an English PPC. It's about Japanese, but should work. You need Tascal registry editor, a big font file (over 4MB), possibly FontOnStorage to save room, an 'over-written' (actually just suppressed) file in ROM, and a registry import. And follow instructions exactly.

I tried the demo of CEstar (using ppc2003 on X5) and all I got were squares with that too... :(

I will read taht brighthand post and see what I can do about it.
Hmm that seems a bit too involved, especially since I can barely read any chinese I want to use it more for the dictionary above... I think I got the old cestar which is why ppc2003 didnt like it i will grab the demo of that and try that next..I think that dictionary is quite nice if you are looking for a english to chinese dictionary
