Will Pocket PC run other software? I would like to run Roger Wilco a Windows Chat program but I do not know if Pocket PC's will run windows software?

Not unless it was specifically written to run on Pocket PC, and further more for the specific process. In the case of the Axim, the ARM-based or X-Scale-based versions are what you are looking for.
