.cdb to .mdb conversion without Activesync

I know I have asked this before but I still havent found a solution.

I need a small stand alone application that takes a .cdb file that has been emailed from the PDA and been received on a regular PC. The application will convert this .cdb file into an .mdb file so that it can be imported into Access on the PC.

I cant believe that other people dont need to do this and that someone hasnt cracked it. I know that ActiveSync will do the conversion but that means the PDA and the PC have to be at the same location and synced.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I am not sure if you need the data structure each time or not (if the files are different). If you just need the data you might consider exporting to csv and then importing from csv to the .mdb.

Interesting, but how would I convert the .cdb into a .csv on the PDA prior to emailing?.

However this latteral thinking does raise an alternative route.

Is there any software that resides on the PDA that will convert a .cdb to an .mdb 'before' it is emailed?

What program are you using to interface with the CDB on your Pocket PC? I believe that SprintDB allows users to export a table to CSV. Not sure what others do.

I don't know of any programs that do what you want. I believe I have heard of one, but it costs $100 and if I remember right is simply a programming .dll that you would have ot make a program with...
