I just made my PC Bluetooth ready and it's being really buggy with ActiveSync. I've paired the PC with my Axim and they see each other without a problem. When I initiated the first sync, the PC chimed that it recognized the Axim, the Bluetooth icon turned blue showing that theconnection was initiated, and the green disk in active synch started turning. And turning. And turning. And friggin turning until I got a dialog box that said that the Axim can't be recognized because either the cable isn't connected properly or its not a pocket-pc. It IS a pocket-pc and, well, there is no cable - thats what Bluetooth is about, right? Now when I try to synch, the computer still chimes and the Bluetooth icon turns green, my Axim even shows it as an active connection! But the green disk no longer turns and no synching takes place.
Everything is hunky-dory when I synch through the dock, so nothing weird there. Whats going on? It's clear that the two machines see each other and even establish communication, so why won't they TALK to eachother?!?!?:bang:
