Just a quick word for ListPro v 4.0

I had downloaded the 30 Day trial, and after only 1 day of use, took the plunge and bought it. Keep in mind, this proggy 'aint cheap: $29.95 USD :hide:

But, in my less-then-informed-opinion, this is the best list making software around.

It is way more then just a "shopping list", which seems to be the focus of most freeware listmaking programs. I use this program to track statistics and attendance at Church, phone call reports, assignments, as well as "what I have to pick up from the store on my way home from work".

The program is very customizable (although there are some simple features that are lacking ) and fairly easy to use. I haven't had to read the User Manual yet, but I will eventually get around to it.

If you are the kind of person who:

a) Likes to make "lists" of things to do

and

b) Likes to "check off" indiviual components of a list

then this could be the software for you.

Have a look at the Freeware programs available first (I did), and then download the free trial. You may just agree with me that it is worth the $30 :approve:

You didn't mention one of the best features. The $30 version is the Pro version. It comes with a desktop client that you can update/create lists with really quickly and it will sync on your next connection. Plus it supports alarms.

For $15 more you can get the utility package Pro, which include eWallet, the best sensitive data storage out there. Also a pro version with a desktop client.

The Utility package also comes with Dockware, which is a password protected screen saver with a slide show feature. Use it on your desk to display pictures of loved ones when your Axim isn't in use. Can also display a large analog clock on the screen. Not bad for a 'free' throw in.

$45 is a lot for PPC software, but not if like me it adds the exact function you are looking for in a PPC, then it is just part of the PPC price. Plus with the desktop clients... I use it more often on my desk than on my PPC.

I would, however, suggest looking for coupons or discounts somehow.

Agreed, ListPro is a great piece of software. I use it for all kinds of stuff, from keeping track of projects, following up on action items, and even for Geocaching. Very cool stuff.
