I'm a long time Quicken user. I am also Beta Testing Pocket Quicken for the PPC. (Aside: I love Pocket Quicken and think it will be a big success.)
But, I wanted to access both my home data and my work data on my Axim. And, since Pocket Money was a free download, I decided to buy Money 2003 Deluxe and convert my home data. (I needed to do that because my home and work data are separate files, and Pocket Quicken wouldn't allow me to use them both. I had to choose one, so I chose Quicken)
So anyway, I bought Money Deluxe 2003 (from Costco for about $17.00 after rebates) and converted my old Quicken home data. Worked pretty well. I then downloaded the Pocket Money application from the Microsoft Website. Synced that data and was up and running.
Bottom line. I now run Pocket Quicken and Pocket Money on my Axim. Both work fine and allow me to enter transactions while I'm away from my desktop and to see my account balances, etc. I think Pocket Quicken is a little bit of a nicer program, but Money is good too, and the price for that was better!!:D
Keep trying and I think you'll be happy when you get it to work. Also, make sure you downloaded the right version of Pocket Money. There are separate versions for Money 2003 and Money 2002.
