voice recording

Is there a way to record with a single button operation?

I changed my record function to the #4 button (House - Today) and with the unit off, holding down that button wakes the Axim and starts recording until you release.
It's easier than the side button.

Thanks for the suggestion. Using a front button is much better than the side, but i would like to do a single click on / click off operation.

heres what you do: just click in the record button on the side, dont hold it (you might have to push it more than once). Then push the red circle when you want to record, and push the square when you want to stop.

EBELING,
That's what happens ... try it. One button recording.
Or are you saying you don't want to hold the button? Then you have to tap the screen.
