Question Database Programs

I'm looking for a way to use my Access database on my Axim--I had been using Smartlist togo on my palm and was pretty happy with it.

I've seen a number of database programs for ppc, but it's hard to tell which to settle on.

Does anyone have experience with these? Can you help me start looking?

Lookout for SprintDB (very advanced), "Data on the run" simple but effective, "PocketDB 5.1" next on my checkout list

I've just been looking for a PPC replacement for Smartlist togo (formerly thinkDB) and after a recommendation bought HanDBase.

You do need the Professional version (which has "Forms") if you want the ability to design your New Item and Edit Screens and have the "multi-tab" flexibility of Smartlist, and I have reported a couple of minor bugs, but otherwise I'm happy with HanDBase.

I personnal tested several database programs and the best is definitely SprintDB Pro. If you know Access well, you will have no problem figuring it out. It comes with a very detailed and easy to understand manual as well. Data on the Run is o.k., but not nearly as powerful as Sprint DB Pro.

You can also do a search on this site to see what others are saying - you will find that SprintDB Pro is among the best (the best in my opinion).

I did try Sprint DB Pro briefly, and it may well be the most powerful, and the best if you're used to Access (which I'm not), but being used to SmartList, SprintDB Pro seemed harder to get into than HanDBase which was very similar to SL. Maybe I should have persevered, but I'm happy.
