Beta: Spb Finance Money Edition

Spb Software House is looking for beta testers of Spb Finance Money Edition. It's a new edition of Spb Finance that supports synchronization with Microsoft Money.

If you are interested you can register as a beta tester at

Denis,

As I use Quicken and not Money, any idea when SPB Finance Quick will support Quicken 2005? It's been over 2 months since Intuit released their update and I'm still unable to use your product.

Thanks,

Gary

I may be wrong but I think PocketQuicken is the only PPC software able to directly sync with Quicken. I believe it's a licensing issue.

(BTW, I hope I'm wrong because I don't want to pay $30 for PocketQuicken)

SPB Finance Quick will (or did!) sync with Quicken, until Quicken 2005, but if you have a prior version, it should work fine; only other issue was there was no investment accounts.

Hi Garry,

For at least half of a month Spb Finance team will be concentrated on Money edition. Then we plan to update other editions and start work on 2.0. Surely we will work on Quicken 2005 compatibility as well.
Sorry to make you waiting, and thank you for understanding. unfortunately, we are not the magicians and can do only one thing at a time. =(

Denis,

Thanks for the update, will look for the update.

Also, perhaps you should put a disclaimer on your website that it isn't compatible with Quicken 2005, it doesn't state that anywhere and buyers will be flooding the support system with questions.

As it turns out, I'm not using Quicken 2005. Downloaded the demo and I liked it a lot. As soon as my SD card arrives I'm buying this app.

Thanks!

I signed up for the bete testing. I use Money 2003 at home and on my X5. The PPC version is so limited. I am hoping this shows more informaion that Money PPC does.

Same for me. I use Money Small Business 2003.

Guess I'll have to wait.

I still would like a more comprehensive app other than Microsoft's PPC app. I still use it mainly because it interfaces directly with Money. I don't want to hassle with QIF files.

Hi!
Please write in more detailes what features that not present are critical for you. This is an idea of beta program. We need to collect user opinions and find holes in usability.
In two days we will provide updated build wich works much more stable. We will send mass mail to all registered beta users.

I presume that DSmithZ28 was referring to the Microsoft Money PPC app.
For me, I signed up for beta, but can't participate since I use Money 2003.

We are working on compatibility with previous version of MS Money and as soon as all testing will be finished we will provide a new update that supports Money 2003 as well.

Have you tried to use current beta version of Spb Finance ME with Money 2003 or just read that we support 2004 only stopped testing?

Didn't try the beta because of the web site mentioning support for Money 2004 only.
Will try the beta with Money 2003 when I get home tonight.

Loaded the beta. First sync worked fine although I received message about combining data, etc. Probably because I already have Money for PPC.
Forgot to turn off Money for PPC sync.
However, no harm done. Was able to enter some transactions on the PPC and they transferred to PC fine. :approve:

How long does your Beta last???

Help system is broken. The links are bad:
