I use advanced explorer. Bought it, but it was cheap.

It has some quirks but over all has been more then sufficient and its memory footprint is very small.

I use Total Commander but find it handy just using the bundled file explorer for general purpose file handling.

Resco is the only one I've used. It works great for me so I've never really felt the need to try any of the others.

GSFinder for free is the one for me. Visually and functionally it's almost the same as Resco.

I vote for Resco as the best, but will use GSFinder.

Resco explorer so far, but would like to see a comparative review of others too.

FileManCE2 is another excellent freeware file manager.

Although I mostly use GSFinder+, I sometimes go back to FileManCE2 because it has features not found in GSFinder+.

Give FileManCE2 a try !!! You might like what you see.

FilemanCE2 is not being developed anymore. I already wrote the author 2 years ago and he told me so. Therefor not all options in that filemanager work!
