hi,

i had a problem that my ppc didn't restarted after a softreset. i tried it several times but it showed only the dell start screen. finally i made a hardreset and wanted to restore my as backup. the restore finished without any problems but after the softreset the same problem occured.
i now tried to get the important files restored only. the only tool i found was stgviewer. unfortunately the version 0.1b seems to work only for "normal" files but not for databases in the database folder.

are there any other ways to get a database restored from the backup.stp?

finally, is it possible that the registry is not reset completely after a hardreset? i still get the information of an unregistered version, which i haven't installed after the hardreset.
