How to I sync hotmail with outlook and ppc?

I have tried everything and I can download hotmail to outlook express but not to outlook. I want to get hotmail emails on my axim, does anyone know how?

As far as I know, you can't.

You can browse using Pocket IE and check your hotmail that way.

IE won't let me get into hotmail because of its version and additional components, i believe. I don't really check my hotmail account frequently, so I don't even bother checking it on ppc.

You might want to try using these applications (They are not free):

MSN E-mail for Pocket PC is a free version at download.com and zdnet.com, but it has a lot negative feedbacks. That and it leads you to a broken link.

isn't it possible to ad a new account to your outlook (extra--account---new---http---ect.) and afterwards synch it whit your device.

haven't tried this yet but works with my sony clie t625c (palm os 4).

Still haven't received my axim so if you try (or tried) this please tell me the outcome of it.

hope it works though, whant to read my hotmail mails on my device.

Outlook Express lets you sync hotmail, it can use a HTTP email service, but outlook that syncs with activesync will not. HTTP format is not an option as far as I know.

I know your problem, I have encountered it myself,
You are running Microsoft Outlook 2000-r, which does not let you sync with http email servers (and it is the outlook that comes with your axim, or mine atleats)

get Microsoft Outlook 2003, and you shouldn't have any problems
