Please help me with ActiveSync. It is acting very weird!!!

It seems the only time I can sync is when I first plug the PDA into the cradle. It does not show it is attached on the laptop after it sync's. The is kinda of a problem because I want to install programs, but the only way I can do it is when I first plug in the PDA. Now the other odd thing is that it only stay's connected for a certain time (the time it takes to sync up contacts, etc). I want to install a game like Age of Empires and I don't have enough time to install it before it disconnects. Can't I have it connect all the time?

Thanks!

I also agree with the re-install of ActiveSync.

Also make certain you have the lastest version of ActiveSync 3.7.1

If not, download it free from Microsoft.

And check your PPC's PowerOff settings and ActiveSync settings to make sure nothing is pre-set to time-out or turn your PDA off.

okay, I just reinstalled it for the 4th time and it still "hangs". How can I uninstall it from my PDA? I am thinking that might be where the problem is. Any ideas?

Did you also try mfphoto1's advice about setting it to 'continuous'? And no, you cannot uninstall it from your PPC.

Yes, I did :(.

No luck. This kinda sucks considering that the PDA is becoming more useless since I can't sync. I am also getting a windows error saying it found an error and to try again later.

Please help me.

Thanks!
