Better Word processor than Pocket Word?

I'm an old Palm convert and I'm missing some of the functionality of Documents to Go, specifically the Word component. Pocket Word is much more limited than DTG's word processor. Is there another word processor available that shows graphics, allows you to format numbered lists, and allows you the option of creating tables? I do a lot of documents with charts in them, and Pocket Word just isn't cutting it right now.

Thanks,

Outfox

Pocket Word will never cut it. It is hopeless. I concur with JakeRich about Textmaker -- pricey, but worth every penny.

Big Smile

what is the deal? if it is possible to create decent word processors and spreadsheet programs why doesn't MS do it? What the heck is all that global clout and stuff if they don't use their resources? I know that no one knows, and I am typically not down on MS, but com'on theres no need for them to crank out sub standard programs. Sure someone will always have something that appeals to any given particular person but they could at least try to be competitive. If they can't give us function then maybe they should consider giving us a price break LOL Yeah, thats sure to be coming!

I am used to Documents to Go also. It is a good program. Word does not impress me at all. Textmaker looks pretty good. I may give it a shot.

Because having a crappy version of Pocket Word encourages 3rd party development which looks good for the PPC platform and brings in licensing revenue for Microsoft.

As a former Docs to Go user let me say that Textmaker is many times better.

TM is good, Can yuo wait till Nov. 11 next year however when the developer, in keeping with the town's tradition of doing odd things on the said date, offers the software for just 11.11 dollars(49 on other days)?
It would be nice to have someone convince them to move to a town celebrating it's anniversary on the 2nd of January.
