GS Pocket Magic v1.32.9 (Task manager)
New Taskmanager from GreenSoft same as from programmer GSPLAYER and GSfinder.
I am still testing this app and it looks great. It has skinning capabilities, cascade menus, copy, cut and past options. You can soft-reset, and shut down the PocketPC. You can drag/drop, tap/hold, and it really close down app, rather then minimize them.
I just made a screen shot of the menu of this app. All on the website is in Japanese. Better download and use the English version, or if you know japanese the japanese one;)
Download for free HERE
Enjoy

Thanks hendrixus! I'm trying it out now also. Looks real good so far. It's amazing what GS provides for free...

The app is so so.
Doesn't display programs currently running on the top taskbar and to load a program requires multiple clicks to get through the start menu. I think if a lot of those options on the start menu could be moved to a right click option on the top taskbar, then it would free up the start menu to list recently used apps, fav apps, etc. Also I need a list of running apps to be displayed on my top taskbar so I know what's open all the time without having to click into a menu to check.
GSPlayer is great, but for my needs, this app is so so right now.

Well it does if yoy cann up the list of app which you want to close. But it does work on a different way then a conventional app like WA. Like switching it makes you pick to app to swicth too from the "programs"
Meanwhile I did uninstalled.

A few other freebie options for the Cascading Menu are:
Either Tillanosoft Program Menu or Small Menu.
WisBar Advanced 1.3.2.2
Personally, I use Tillanosoft Program Menu. I also used WisBar Advanced, but not for the Cascading Menu. I like Tillanosoft's better, so I have a button in WisBar assigned to Tillanosoft. I also have the standard Windows PPC Start Menu still available as well. And the Windows PPC Start Menu does show icons for the last few apps executed.
What's really nice about Tillanosoft, is the Cascading Menus are white with black text, which makes it very easy to view. Also they allow many subfolders, within the \Start Menu\Programs. GSPocketMagic limits you to 6 subfolders, and it does not show subfolders within other subfolders.
In Tillansoft, you can have a shortcut link to a folder (such as My Documents), and the Cascading Menu will allow you to see the contents of the folder (all of your documents and files). If you have the document/file type assigned to specific apps, you can then click on a document/file in the Cascading Menu, and the appropriate app will open and process the document you selected. I do this with many types of documents and files, such as MP3's, eBooks, Word, Excel, TXT, etc. It makes it very easy to just go to a specific document, and then have the appropriate app start and show that specific document.

Me too - There was a conflict between PocketPlus and PocketMagic over control of the "X" button, and in general the X30H seemed to get sluggish while PocketMagix was running. AND my scheduled Sprite backup didn't run for some reason (this has not happened before).

GS provides excellent software but I think a real task manager ought to display the running tasks in the top bar otherwise you might as well use the dell task switcher. Sadly, wisbar does not perform very well with my axim.

Where running tasks are being displayed is just a matter of personal favor. The programmer of GS showed his;)

I do not entirely agree with you because the software I am running hide everything but the top bar. Hence it makes sense to show icons in the top bar.
