active sync disconnecting after certain period?

For some reason after my axim stays docked for 10 or so minutes , activesync will disconnect the connection, so my tray icon will go grey and I won't be able to transfer files and stuff. Anyone know why it's doing this?

I have the same problem, although mine will reconnect after a few minutes, start syncing, disconnect itself, then do it all over again.

Anyone got an idea?

Most of the time this is a symptom of USB problems. It is alternatively losing and finding the Axim. Check to make sure the Dell drivers are installed, try another USB port, maybe even spend $20 and get a new USB card for the computer. You can search this site for USB problems and see some of the other fixes people have discovered.
