I downloaded Ilium ListPro's trial software today. I was singularly unimpressed. Though I know it's the choice of many of you here for this application, I thought it was confusing and not at all user friendly.

I would like to know if there's another listmaking software out there (whether or not you use it) and where might I be able to find it.

(I did find a freebie, but tho it worked fine and was simple enough, it was sort of too simple. I need something between no lists and-the-lists-that-ate Chicago type)

TIA,
Donna

I too found ListPro overwhelming and not intuitive, which I think a good program should be. I just didn't know where to begin, and even help wasn't much help.

I primarily wanted a shopping list, so freeware MyShoppingList works fine for me. Its not perfect, but does a good enough job. Most likely the one you tried. I think there are a couple other ones out there. Try the listing at PPC4all .

To the contrary, I found ListPro to be exceptionally easy to figure out. Well worth the modest price. It's got your shopping list already done for you in the free lists that come with it. All you have to do is add store names and items. I find the flags on and off to be one of the most helpful features. This is 100 times simpler than figuring out a TV remote control. Now don't take me wrong but if you want something simpler why not just use the templates in the notes application. Or use Pocket Excel to make your shopping list?

The notes application doesn't give me the checkbox and Excel's database didn't carry them over to the Axim either.

I have just found this review right here on this site for PocketShop... looks like I'll be trying this one out tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully it will be more to my liking.

Yes, hopefully PocketShop is to your liking. We spent a great deal of time designing it to make it as easy as possible to figure out.

Visit www.sdmventures.com for a free trial; there is a review of it here on the site. (We have since fixed the installation issues that are identified by this informative review.)

Thanks!
