Restoring PI icons after hard reset?

I understand that there is a way to back up icon associations with appointments and tasks in Pocket Informant. Does anyone know how to do this using Sprite? I had to do a hard reset and all the assigned icons disappeared. I hate the thought of re-tagging them all as I find these valuable especially, in month view.

All the connections etc were maintained in your MyDocuments>Webis folder and so if you restore this you should get them back.

Didn't happen. From what I understand the assigned icons get selected from the Icon Store and then get duplicated in the 'Icon' folder which is intact. Somehow the icons in that folder didn't get tagged back to the appointments and tasks.

I wonder if the restore in Sprite would be different from the Sync to a backup folder on the desktop.

I believe that the file that contains the links is Settings.txt - was that restored as well?

I think that if you go the PI forums they will be able to sort you very quickly :approve:

Here is the response from Alec @ WebIS on the PI forum. This is good to know. I'll try restoring from Sprite.

"If you do a backup/restore of the PIM data with Sprite - then the attached icons will be saved. Otherwise ActiveSync does not sync the extra field we use."
