DivX - XviD Codec

This is my first post,so please forgive me if its in the wrong area. I am getting a Dell Axim X50 for xmas. To make my college life more easy.So I have never used one before.

I own many anime ep's that range from 180mb to 250mb in size. I'd like to beable to watch them on my pocked pc. But am unsure as to what app/tool, what ever I need to watch them with. They are DivX 5.1_ and XviD4 codec's. So I dont know if I can just use WMP10, or if I'll need to install the codecs.

I have looked over google, but I dont get much help. And for what I do see, it does not look very stable, or there is not alot of info on it.

If you could please tell me what you think would be best to do, I'd be more than gratefull. If its freewere or paywere, thats ok.Long as it works.

I use the XviD4 codec to encode all my movies and watch them using BetaPlayer. Any AVI player should be able to do it. Again, Betaplayer is the best.

WMP will not play DivX/XVID encoded AVIs.

Do you have to install any extra codecs/plugins after installing Betaplayer? Or is it ready to play xvid/dvix once installed?

betaplayer will play divx/xvid without having to add any plugins/codecs,
remember to check out bigd's guides in the post above, it will save you alot of space on your memory card, by re-encoding the file size is reduced.
