Finding it complicated to get Map Quest to my X30!
I don’t necessarily need it on my wireless (which I haven’t attempted), but if I look up an address and a map on my comp. I'm finding it very hard to get the image into my PDA. I tried clicking in "Send to my PDA", then I filled out all the info for AvantGo, but nothing. Out of curiosity I tried saving the image of the map as a regular file on my next sync, but it opened too small and not recognizable.
Any tips, or even better step by steps on how to get a route or map in my PDA from my comp?

Yes I do have it in the basic programs that came with the Pocket PC, as I go to Map Quest and click on "Save to PDA" it takes me to the AvantGo web page (which I did regeste to) but from there I dont see how to make the Map Quest come up when Avant Go is opened. When AvantGo is opened I see My Channels, but none of them are Map Quest.

Thanks, I did open it and ran an address, but the only way I could put it on my PDA is by clicking on "Creat Mobile Favite" on my computer, then syncing, then looking up Favorites. That way seems a little stange, plus I cant get the dirrections only the map.

Ok, at least I can get the info on the page to the pda by clicking on Creat Mobile Favorite.

I rarely use Avantgo, but when I do it is almost always for exaclty what your requesting, mapquest directions.
It does work, but is somewhat convoluted; especially when doing it all from your Axim.
It seems to me, you might be forgetting to SAVE the channel once logged onto Avantgo.
Below is a pictorial of the major steps needed to get mapquest info from Avantgo completely using your Axim only:

Thank you very much for that great step by step help! I do admite, I dont know how to get to the first page you posted. Was that connected to the internet via the wifi? That's rarely the case for me, but I do find that saving the web page as a Favority using that one icon on the top of XP works pretty good.
I would like to learn how to do this the proper way, but I'm under the impression that was via wireless connection. I only take advantage of it when it's available for free (airports, some hotels). :)

It's probably best to perform this from a desktop as you're doing, instead of completely from the Ax via wifi like my example, it's actually simpler.
(1) The 1st three steps can be performed on your desktop. Just be sure to save the channel.
(2) Once done, the next step would be to sync the desktop to your Ax. I'm hoping you know how and have already enabled Avantgo as an Activesync option. If not, more explaination on setting up Activesync is needed.
(3) Once sync'd, simply use PIE and select the Avantgo favorite. The Mapquest info should be there.
Personally, I always try to use my Axim 100% without being tethered (sp?) to a desktop.
Good luck ...

It's not the first time this happens but I sure hate trying to deal with it.
Out of no where I synced the X30 and now I get "Attention Requiered" next to Favorites, I use favorites to save into my pda Map Quest maps. I had saved 3 maps, each with their proper name and address, but now I get this.
When I click on "Attention Requiered" it doesnt tell me anywhere what items need attention or what item I need to be delete.
How have you guys fixed this problem?!
