Greetings,
I have just joined the forum. I have been given a broad hint that I will be having a X30 for Christmas...
What I would like to know, is there any software such as Crossword solver software suitable for the X30, if so where from and how much?

I'm going to lurk and read as much of the forum as I can over the next few days.

Welcome to the forum! its a great place to learn everything you can do with your new toy! I have not seen such software but I am sure if its out there someone will let you know.
And hopefully that gift does not turn out to be socks instead of an x30

Like you, I have been given broad hints that I am receiving an Axim X30 for Christmas ......can't wait! Here is a link to a freeware site for Pocket PC's and a Crossword Puzzle Program.

The link to this software is gone or the download portion is non-existant anymore. Anyone download it and have it around someplace I coud get it from you?

On a similar note, I have been looking for a PPC version of a crossword puzzle dictionary. I have seen some "regular" dictionaries that may suffice - does anyone have any suggestions?

You're welcome. Google "across lite puzzle" and you'll get a list with several sites that allow free puzzle downloads that Mobile Crossword can read.

One of the best is: Houston Chronicle. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a "download a new puzzle" link. That'll take you to a directory listing of downloadable puzzles - FREE.
