found a website that provides a FREEWARE program for overclocking the AXIM to 498 mhz, allegedly safely.

does anyone have any experience with overclocking the AXIM?

also, the site has 2 other freeware programs related to preventing accidental battery discharge by insuring that the AXIM stays off when it is powered down

I read that someone said "overclocking a PDA can be a mixed bag. It might perform a little snappier, but battery life will be shorter. Not sure about the heat factor. Stability could also be affected since running the processor above its rated speed may increase the occurrence of internal processor errors. I am also not sure how much of a difference an additional 72Mhz of processor speed will make since other factors such as bus speed can limit overall performance."
