I thought when you bought skype minutes you would recieve a unique number and people could call you if you were online from a regular phone. Anybody have skypeout?? THanks

No you dont have to by Skype to use it! :D

SkypeOut is the part of Skype you can call Landline phones from. Using Skype over the internet is free, just you dont have the ability to call landline phones from it.

No, you would not recieve a unique number.

damn i thought people could call you and you got a unique number for your so long as you used it and didnt go dead with it.


Yes Frenchy i got 600 minutes for 13 dollars. that is if you are calling US or any major country cause its .017 cents a minute. the rates can be found at skypeout.com for each country. There is some lag in the talk, but since i have no cell phone this works fine for me. Works better when power managment is off as im sure you know. Good Luck JDH

so is this product only free to call others on their computers? you can't use it to call landline or cell phones from your axim for free?
