Hi all;
- FYI - Be careful, install with caution!

I installed Acrobat Reader version 2 for PPC and it immediately screwed up several programs that were working perfectly before the installation.
My backup saved me. :)

I'm with you. Intalled it and all of a sudden my backlighting control didn't work right. Opened a doc in landscape mode and shut the machine down ; wouldn't come back up. Couldn't even hard reset until I plugged it in.

My (newly bought) Age of Empires suddenly stopped working (I got only the two splash screens, but not the intro page (which will be in landscape mode).
I tried a lot of things, like soft resetting, repairing with the setup program (via ActiveSync), de-installing and re-installing - nothing helped (by the way: no answer from cardsupport @ gomdm at all).

Two days ago I tried to install the ROM update, and de-installed a lot of programs before (as I would have to re-install them anyway). The update failed (as I have a German system, the update is Englisch only....) - but suddenly (after a new install) Age of Empires did again.

:exc: Guess what I de-installed: the newly installed Acrobat Reader 2...

Thanks - now I have a clue what went wrong (I do not believe in miracles like suddenly working programs without a reason....)!
