Possible? sure! Doable, doubtful. apple guards .mov pretty closely. I'm sure that Cinema programs high price is from paying royalties or whatever they call it to legally use that format.

I played one off a No Doubt CD awhile ago with PictPocketCinema. I'm not sure which codecs it was using. I'll check next time I try though.

Are you sure PictPocketCinema supports Sorenso3 video and QDesign2 audio codecs commonly used in apple trailer movies example?
I tried some Sor3 files some time ago and it didnt work. I believe it only supports commong codecs used by digital cameras (not sure which ones) I'd love to see sor3 work though.

There are some sample trailer movies on PictPocketCinema site. They use h.263 video codec and adpcm ima4 quicktime audio. Neither of these are supported by BetaPlayer, but this will soon change :D
ya i just tried a QT Sorenson V3 .mov vs a .mp4 (maybe it's my settings) but the colours in the .mov was better than the .mp4 an XVID files... the major thing though was that this was half the size of the XVID...
