I have been using Pocket Informant 3.46 for a couple of months...and really like it. I went to download the upgrade (version 4) recently and installed it on my Axim (after unistalling the older version. Went ahead and installed the newer version, player around with it, liked it, etc... That evening, went to listen to some tunes on WMP and it would not come up, at all! I would clikc on the app and the screen would sort of flash but nothing. I then went to the Home/ Main/ WMP shortcut to try that link and the same thing happened...

PI was the only new app that I had installed in quite some time. I am pretty picky about what I put on my Axim. Luckily I had made a back up the night before so I installed that (with PI 3.46), tried WMP and it worked fine! Just to see, I tried the above process again and the same thing happened...uninstalled the old version, installed PI 4 and no WMP...?

I contacted Alex over at Pocket Informant and he had no idea... Someone on their forums indicated that it might be a problem with the button mappings...

Does anyone have any ideas out there what it might be? I really like PI 3.46 and could keep using it but also figure since I paid for it I might as well be able to use the upgrades also...but want to keep using WMP also...I know, I know, it may not be the best but I like it.

Any thoughts out there from people that know much more than I would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded to the new version and haven't had any problems with WMP. That is weird.
