Spb Pocket Plus - Brightness Control on X50

I'm waiting for Spb to fix a bug that will correct the today plug-in for screen brightness control. They acknowledge that it doesn't work on the X50 yet, but are taking their sweet time with updates (unlike SPSH Software who are tremendous!).

Can anyone recommend another product that will allow me to control screen brightness from the today screen?

You may have already found a solution to this problem but with the brightness control, you can remove the Spd icon and instead link to the brightness control setting directly by creating a custom link. This will give you direct access to the brightness settings and the power set up.

Just install the latest version 2.5 and that should do the trick! Enjoy.

If that doesn't work -- Just add a custom file to Pocket Plus and browse to thw Windows directory and choose "Backlight.exe."

Please let me know if 2.5 works. I have 2.2 and the brightness feature doesn't work.

Also, how do you get the upgrade? Do you just download and install the latest version and use the original registration key? Thanks.

The brightness feature in 2.5 works nicely, and is a nice thing to have.

Just updated to 2.5 also. Well, that's more like it. :approve: Too bad it isn't an SBSH product - Amit would have had this fixed in a week!
