I've been using MemMaid to clean house for a while now, but yesterday I got the message "Some files are currently in use, MemMaid was not able to delete them"

I've done a number of soft resets so that they would no longer be in use, but I keep getting the same message.

The two files are under the heading IE Cache Files. They are:

\Windows\Profiles\guest\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5; and
\Windows\Profiles\guest\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\index.dat

What's going on? Are they necessary files? If so, why are they showing up in my scan?

It's only one file (index.dat) the other entry is the directory containing this file.
This file is used by the system most of the time (no harm in not deleting it as it's usually small).
If you want to get rid of the warning message which MemMaid displaies, go to the cleaner options and turn OFF "Warn if deleting files was denied"

I've got another question about an issue that only started occurring after I installed the last upgrade. When I'm using the Advance Cleaner and I try to check AvantGo Cache Files, I get a popup with no information in it and I have to click 'ok' before continuing. This has been happening consistently for several weeks.

When I want to uncheck AvantGo Cache Files, I get that popup twice. The first time it only changes the box grey. I click 'ok', try to uncheck it again and have to click 'ok' on another blank popup before it is unchecked.

Any advice on that one?

I'll get someone to look into this and get back to you.
In the latest version of MemMaid we were trying to make MemMaid aware of the version number of AvantGo (so in case AvantGo releases a new version that we can clean).
But maybe there is something wrong with the check we make.

I installed the latest update and the problem with checking the AvantGo box disappeared.
