I'm using PocketRSS2 and I want to read the news in the bus when I'm on my way to school or so... I enabled "download extended data" in the settings for the RSS Feed and sometimes the extended data will be downloaded (and sometimes it won't).

But when I read the rss - the title and the description - i can just tap on the icon for viewing the news online - PIE starts and it loads the site. So, where can I read the extended data?

I'm afraid that is exactly what RSS is: just a summary of the news, not the full ones. If you want to download to your PPC the full news, you'llneed Journal Bar, or a similar app.

But I'm not a specialist here. Any one who knows RSS can confirm that ?

oh, i didn't say hello to all :D HI :]

There is one ability in pocketRSS to download the "extended Data" (the links, where the RSS Files referring to) and I think, that PocketRSS loads that sometimes (it loads around 20 things from one RSS Feed).

ok now i got it, the solution:

you have to enable "load extended data" for every feed (i did it before) AND - that was the problem - you have to enable it in the main settings under "html description/view" (show extended data) .. hihi, nice problem, but it works (after one and a half week...)
