I saw a new version of Pocket Mechanic on PocketGear this morning. It's supposed to support more storage cards and have speead improvements, according to the Pocket Gear site. You can download it here: http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=12178
Beware: After installing it over my previous version (1.49), my device did a hard-reset. Fortunately, I backed-up yesterday.
I think if you can run the program then you are fine...my hard resets occurred when trying to start the prog...I've never had one hard reset in the 6 months I've had mine so Pocket Mechanic scares me now
okay I use storage tools and have been looking at this app for awhile, is it really that much better than storage tools for the $$$ ??
Install and use the trial for a while. I use MemMaid, SKTools, and Pocket Mechanic, and believe it or not, I use them all for different things. I believe the cleaners (registry and file) and SD card tools in Pocket Mechanic are excellent.
One quick question. I bought mine on Handango. If I install this will I have to pay for it again? The link you gave me is Pocket Gear and Handango doesn't appear to have the new copy yet.

I don't think this will be a problem. It should install over your previously registered copy and not require a new code. If you do have any problems, you can email the developer.
