I would appreciate any input on agenda fusion or pocketpc as add on programs. Are they merely cosmetic or do they add flexibility and usefulness to my Axim50v.

Do you mean Agenda Fusion or Pocket Informant?

Both are PIMs - Personal Information Managers, which means they tale the databases from the native Pocket Outlook that came on your device and then improve on it.

I use Pocket Informant and prefer it over Agenda Fusion. Others will say the opposite, of course. Since both offer trial versions, it would behoove you to try them both and then decide.

I also use PocketBreeze, which works with any PIM to bring the information to your Today screen and lets you view, filter, modify, and edit it from there.

I tried both and settled on Agenda Fusion with Pocket Breeze.
I like Agendqa Fusion because it has a yearly calendar that you can custom color code which is helpful if you work rotating shifts (as I do).
Whichever one you choose will work with Pocket Breeze. I used both and had no issues with either not working with Pocket Breeze.
