Avantgo sync- account locked

My Axim X50V did work OK for 2 weeks, sync was normal. Now I get a window saying Account locked, Try again later. Error 5458.
I have reloaded all software a few times, and the self test said all is working. Using the cradle. Windows XP pro. Nothing helps.

Seems I had that problem also. Try signing in to AvantGo on your desktop, and then resyncing. Let me know if that helps.

Tried syncing from desktop. No help. Still locked.

Before you sync the x50 with your desktop....sign into Avantgo with your desktop computer. Open Firefox or IE, or whatever you use....go to the AvantGo site and sign in....and then sync your x50 with your desktop....or even just sync from AvantGo on your x50.

I had the same problem last night and I got it working by using the same method outlined above.

Are you actually going to the AvantGo page on your desktop computer and signing into your AvantGo account on your desktop computer with your desktop computer? Forget about the Axim for right now.

I had the same problem. I rebooted my desktop and was able synch.

u guys sync-ed too much :P that's why....i think?

whenever u initialize an activesync connection it tries to update the content of your pda with the ones on the avangto service; in which case, if you synced a few times you will also sync avantgo that many times - thus the server blocks your login ... (well at least that was my case);
