Question Dell Self Diagnostic Utility

i installed the self diagnostic utility off of the companion cd that came with my x50. i was able to use and pass all tests except for the video test. when i click the "start test" button, nothing happens. same if i hit the "stop test" button. when i exit, it says "failed".

has this happened to anyone else? what does it mean, and what is supposed to happen?

When this happens, it is a very dangerous situation. Please don't turn your x50 back on. PM me for the address where to send your x50, and all of the orignial accessories, for your own safety.
:exc:

JUST KIDDING. Apparently this is the case with all the x50s. Seems Dell has a klunker of a self diagnotic tool.

:)

I found their Testing software to be of no help.
