I just installed this plugin 2 days ago and I must say "AMAZING!". Aside from being a really good today plugin I love the fact that it allows you to open multiple windows when surfing with Pocket Explorer..."I LOVE THIS!". I must sound like an advertisement but i just want to share this incase anyone didn't know this.
Cheers!

From the day I downloaded the trial of SPB Pocket Plus I was hooked. This is the best ever piece of software I spent money on. I love having the drag and drop icons and the tabs allow me to keep everything in it's place. The ability to CLOSE programs is a must. And yes, the web abilities are good too.
Oh, did I forget to mention themes? It looks great. I've had everything from LOTR to tigers to Space Shuttles, to Star Wars. Looks absolutely stunning!!!
I stopped using Spb Pocket Plus because of the immense lag it was creating on basic OS functions... And since I usually use my X50v in "Power-Saving mode" most of the time it was really getting to me :bang:
Still, I'll agree it's a good piece of software and definitely worth the price. :approve:
Just tried this program. Looks great and very functional. The question I have is that it seems very resource hungry. My processor now only runs at its max speed when set on auto and when playing movies with betaplayer they are now very jumpy . I've removed pocket plus and now everything is ok again. Is this normal? I'd love to continue using this program but not at the noticeable expense of performance elsewhere.
If you like the PIE functionality in SPB Plus, take a look at MultiIE (excellent) and Reensoft PIE Plus (good).
I didn't like SPB Plus' PIE plugin because the multiple window titles are garbled. Also, the full-screen option doesn't allow you to display the web page and nothing else (scrollbars, and other stuff I can't remember!).

I have the same experience both positive and negative. I sent Spb an email concerning this and their reply states that this software is not "fully" compatible with the x50v at this time. They also would not tell me when I could expect a "fully" compatible version.
spb pocket plus support VGA mode or not??
Thanks1!!
yes it does support QVGA, VGA(double pixelling) and Real-VGA mode as well.
I have used SPB Pocket Plus as well, but only limited to the pocket IE extension and file explorer addon (the up button) and also the battery indicator, sometimes.
I've noticed that the today screen drains a lot of battery; the close button I don't use anymore (using magicbutton); battery indicator (sometimes, I still use the Tillanosoft's SmallMenu with builtin battery indicator);
Many thanks, guys. I had no idea why my X50v stayed on the highest speed.
I wonder if disabling some of the features not used on Pocket Plus would help.
Today I checked the processor speed more closely, and the X50v always powered down to 208 or 108 MHZ in POWER SAVING or AUTO modes. (IE powered down to 208 MHZ when reading with 2 windows open; MS Reader also powered down to 208 MHz.)
Does the X50v have to be in the VGA mode for the mega battery drain to occur, put in that mode with a special program like SE_VGA?
I don’t have any programs that require the stronger horsepower of the X50v’s processor to properly test this program, and don’t know what speed is required to run any such programs. Pocket Plus has added many handy features to my PDA. As I learn more about the capacity of my PDA and add more applications, I might run into the problems others are having with Pocket Plus.
For some unknown reason, my PDA seemed to be stuck on the highest setting yesterday for a longer-than-normal period, but I couldn’t repeat that result today. With what I’m doing, I have no gripes now with Pocket Plus.
