Don't ask me why, but by any chance do you have Resco Picture Viewer installed. If so uninstall it and then try to sync.

I too had significant problems getting the files to sync via Activesync. What worked for me is the following:

- Under the ActiveSync options de-select syncing of files and hit OK.
- After it rechecks for changes, go back to options and select sync files.
- Just after selecting files, the settings button should be active (i.e., you can select it - normally it's greyed out)
- Hit the settings button and add a file to the list (doesn't matter which one, just grab something).
- Now re-sync the device and it should start syncing files again.
- Try to keep at least one file in the sync hopper at all times. If you revert to syncing no files or deselect the option, you may have to go through this primeing process again.

I have no idea why this pump primeing approach worked, but I've given up trying to figure out MS software a long time ago.

Ok, I fixed 'my' problem....

Under "Tools" - "Options" - "Rules"

I had it set to "Leave items unresolved"

I just changed it to what I wanted, and it will
resolve on its own now..

I had a similar "hair pulling" experience. I had the Mobile Favorites not allowing the nasty yellow icon to turn the pretty green too.

At some point I changed my Temporary Internet Files\Cache from the Windows folder to the SD card. After I switched back to the Windows Folder everything is green.

Sheesh!

Don't know if this applies to you or not. Good luck.

The problem I am having with ActiveSync [3.7.1] is that even though I have it set up to disconnect after sync, the connection stays active. AXIM X5 is set to power down after 3 minutes of inactivity, but with ActiveSync still active, it never powers off. This is running my battery down and entering "sleep mode" when connected to the USB cable [not the cradle] at work. When connected to the cradle at home, the same holds true -- does not disconnect after sync and does not power down. Battery does not discharge as it is in the charger.
