Satellite dish receivers??? I've tried using Total Remote and Vito Remote and I couldn't get them to work. Anyone else with any luck? I'm in Canada using Bell ExpressVu.

As long as the remotes are InfraRed and not RF.... as I suspect a satellite remote might be .... you should have no problems.

RF is generally not "learnable", particularly to a PDA.

What receiver are you using? Make and model if you have it.

I haven't been able to get it to work with any of the Bell ExpressVu receivers. I believe the recievers are made by Echostar. I've got the 5800 pvr model and also a couple 2700s.
