I had the same problem with the CD that came with my x50. I called customer services to have it replaced and was transferred three times before I asked to speak with a supervisor

. The tech then tried to convince me that the supervisor was not very technical and would not be able to help

. I insisted and spoke with a supervisor who had worse English than the three other people I had previously spoken with

. He did send a replacement. All that being said, they will replace you companion CD. If you call you should speak with tech support and not customer service. That was the last place I would have been transferred when I insisted to speak with a supervisor.
