I was a died in the wool MultiIE user before I used this version, but now wouldn't want to give this up. It has a smaller footprint for one, it handles tabbed pages better for another, is smoother and not that it has anything for me at present, but it has VGA support for when I trade up to an X50, which I think maybe soon.

Will PIEPlus allow you to access some sites that say you need to upgrade you browser when using the stock PIE? I have the X50v and want to get to some streaming video sites, but most either have scripts or sense that I am only a Pocket PC and won't let me in. I am a comcast customer and they have a very nice home page with tons of streaming video that I can not get to.

Can't say on the streaming video but it will emulate IE5.5 or 6 which enables you to access most sites (not Java sites, only one browser thats available with Java support and that's Netfront w/ Java Support but no VGA support as of yet)it will support Javascript though. The trial is no charge however, why not try it and see how it works and if you would, report back here so other interested parties can see how you did.:approve:
I don't know if it's just my PDA or not, but I'm no longer noticing any difference between Standard View and Pocket View with this new beta. :rolling:
Where did you install it? In main memory is where it goes, same for all of the PIE add ons and Netfront, they'll semi work from BIS or memory card, but belong in main memory. Question 2, give us a URL of a page where you're seeing this. If worse comes to worse, use Add/Remove and do the installation over.
I installed it in main memory. I'm seeing (or not seeing) it on every page. I haven't used PIEPlus in a long time, and since the only reason I used MultiIE over PIEPlus was Screen Drag, and the new beta has screen drag, I switched back to PIEPlus. I haven't seen any difference on pages when I repeatedly switched back and forth between Standard and Pocket view. I don't this is just me not being attentive enough to notice a difference, or just a quirk with my PDA (my Axim X30h is EXTREMELY quirky and even insolent at times), or even a problem with the program itself, but I hope the problem (if there is one at all) gets solved by the official release, because I am looking forward to it.

Just downloaded and installed in BIS on my Axim50v. Works great. May change my opinion after playing with it more, but Aximsite looks good, my UNIX books in html look good.
Tried MultiIE and liked it. Now trying PIEPlus trial to see how it works. Wish new version was out and there was a review of both side by side.
