Is there a program that will let me make shortcuts on the Today screen for the programs I use most?? If so, is it stable??

Jwoolz48 - There are a number of applications which will meet your description. My favorite freeware today shortcut launching application is called TDLAUNCH. TDLAUNCH is perfectly stable on my X30.

I use TDLaunch and am very pleased with it. It works well in portrait or landscape and has a nice flexible interface. Plus, it's free.

Do a Google for "cLaunch". More options than tdlaunch IMO. And it's free, too.

I used to like claunch also, but stopped using since it was not stable on my X30. Could be my problem and related to all my installed applications....... or possibly 2003SE related since the author has not made an update toclaunch since 2003SE came out.

Is there a way to put a shortcut to a Folder on the Today Screen? All the programs above just make short cuts to aplications or files.

The best software for putting folders on the desktop is Scott Seligman's Launcher. It's a very simple app, but you can customize the appearance of folder icons by using an icon shortcut (same method that the Games folder uses). I don't know whether it works it works properly in VGA.
Edit: You aren't actually using a shortcut to a folder, instead you're making a folder which has shortcuts in it.

I use cLaunch on my x30 with WM2003se without any problems. I liie the tabbed interface as well as the ability to change the icons. Of course, I like my Today screen as clutter free as possible.

Windows File Explorer
I assume it got added with active sync but when you have AS running and connected with the PPC you can explore your device and create or move or delete shortcuts on you PPC using the desktop or laptop.

You can also do that directly on the ppc. Just copy the app then when you go to paste it, choose 'paste shortcut'.
