Try HanDBase from www.ddhsoftware.com. They sell the database, but there are thousands of applications downloadable for free (mostly). I know they have several DVD/CD inventory apps available.

IMHO

It's easier to make an Excel Spreadsheet on your PC. Then synch it with your Axim.

A free app named "My Pocket Diary" could be used. I think I read somewhere that someone had used it for that purpose and it saves to a .cdb file.

Don't know exactly how you want to 'manage your loans,' but if you're looking for a flat-file, db, and a list manager, Ilium's ListPro is also a good choice.

http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/lp/listpro.htm

The company provides user-made list formats, and making your own is a simple affair.

This is a GREAT DVD program for the desktop. And, it's free.

http://www.intervocative.com/dvdpro/index.html

However, I am not yet fully educated in the Pocket PC world, so I ask, can you load a program like this (which is small...btw) or any regular program on a Pocket PC?

Any DVD fan has got to at least check this program out. You will NOT be sorry

I have been using this DVD Profiler software on desktop for well over a year now, and love it. It is very simple to use, simply type in the UPC code and it connects to server and downloads everything, including front/back cover scans. I have found VERY few titles that were not already in the server's database. And also, the interface is HTML skinnable, so you can create or download skins as to how you want to view the covers/information for each of your titles. Very cool.

As for running it on the PPC, not a chance. :) PPC requires PPC-coded software, it will not run Windows 9x/2000/Me/etc. software. I have not seen a DVD inventory app as good as this one for PPC. I keep hoping that Invervocative will decide to port it over. :)

DVD Profiler for the PocketPC???

OK I went over to InterVocative to check out this DVD Profiler and I was very impressed. If only they had a PDA version of it...Well I went up to file and there is an export to DVD Profiler Pocket option which does not work. I did some digging and a ways down in the whats new section it states...

"Have you ever wished you could have the details of your DVD collection, ordered list, and wish list with you? So have we! Now what can we do about that?

Details to follow..."

I did some more digging and found this...

http://www.dvdprofiler.com/cgi-bin/u...c&f=1&t=002100

and this...

http://www.dvdprofiler.com/cgi-bin/u...c&f=7&t=000908

This would be the ultimate tool for keeping track of your DVDs on your PocketPC...I can not wait!!!

Yes, Intervocative put that menu option in the latest version. From what I've heard, they have been working on a PPC version since last year....but I haven't heard anything about it since back before about October 2002.

Question Mavin - where's the link?

I wanted to d/l the ppc ver. and didn't see a link to the prog. I saw that you need to login on the right hand side but didn't see where you would join. Can anyone shed some light?
