Good mrorning everyone,
I have a few questions about some database applications. Basically, I looking for the best database application out there. I've dl'd a trial version of handDB and sprintDB. I found both were lacking. For one, there was no conduit sync program. Basically, I would have had to create the database on the pocket pc. The other one (HandDb I think)would not install the database to the pocket pc properly, and each database was only one table ? I could find no way to convert an access database to either program format. Maybe I just screwed up the installation, but it didn't seem intuitive.
This is what I'm looking for. I run the IT department for a large music distributer. I need a database app that could hold 50 + tables, almost a million records, and be able to sync with SQL server, even access if possible, all wirelessly. Is the SQL CE the only option available to me ? Or is there a commercial program that can handle this, and also have a scripting / program langauage. I would like to know just before I start to develope this from scratch. Thanks for any information.
