Does anyone know of a good freeware registry editor - need to remove skype.exe from startup.

Everytime i start my pda i get - can't find ........technologies\skype.exe

couldnt you just go into file explorer, then windows, then startup?

I've allready checked the startup folder for skype but skype isn't in this directory so i'd guess i'll find it under HKLM\Software\microsoft\windows\current version\run or something.

Any registry editors out there?

Try PHM RegEdit - freeware and works well.

Also, install the trial of MemMaid, it detects startup items that originate in the registry, and can remove them as well . . .
