Folders in PIE Favorites

PIE lets you create folders to organise your favourite web-pages. I've been able to create folders, and add pages to them, but after a couple of uses the content of these sub-folders disappears, leaving just the folder titles. Anyone else have this problem?

P.S. In a spirit of trans-Atlantic rapprochement I've used the US spelling of favourite in the thread title... but I fear UK English is on the way out!

All my "favourites" are present and accounted for.

Just a guess ... are you Activesyncing Favorites?

If so, might be a sync issue ...

Yes I am (though I hadn't realised it till you pointed this out!). I've deselected them in Activesync... will see if my sub-folders 'stick' now - thanks for the suggestion!

If you create them in MS IE they seem to survive syncing, but if you create them in PIE, they don't seem to survive syncing. I was under the impression this was longstanding PIE issue but am not sure.

I don't add bookmarks on my PC, as I only use Firefox or IE once in a rare while. I add them on the PPC, where I do most of my browsing. Since discovering years ago that Activesync is quite happy to wipe out URL files on the PPC when synched, I stopped trying that, and instead just periodically dump my PPC links to the PC for importing into the browsers there. Since URL files can just be pasted into the PC's Favorites (sic) folder work in IE, I just compress them all into a RAR archive on the PPC for faster transfer (using PocketRAR), beam them over or use a card to transfer them, unpack them into that folder... then opening Firefox I import the list there too so they'll be incorporated into the bookmarks.html file. Not exactly automated, but too much automation leads to atrophy, loss of data. With a manual transfer one gets pretty much exactly what one wants, not a mystery concocted by the demons of Redmond.
